I've always been attracted to movement, whether it be through sports, fitness classes, or outdoor activities. After going back to college for the second time to become a special education teacher, I realized I needed my workouts to also provide me with ways to balance the stresses of my new career path. I had taken Pilates and yoga classes in the past, but it was at this time in my life that I discovered the beneficial wellness aspects of a consistent yoga practice. I committed to not just "doing yoga", but began studying yoga philosophies, different styles of yoga, and developing my own personal yoga practice. I completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training in December 2016. My personal approach to yoga is a combination of healing, strengthening, and empowering through practice. In my class you'll experience dynamic flows, detailed instruction of poses, modifications for all levels - from beginners to advanced - and teachings that stem from traditional yoga.
