Shelana Poindexter

Shelana joined Atlanta Cycling in 2016 as a sales specialist.  As an avid cyclist herself and an indoor spinning instructor, she adds an enthusiastic dynamic to the team.  

Before joining AC, she was a Customer Care Analyst at the Kimberly-Clark Corporation.  She worked closely with the KC logistics and forcasting teams.  Shelana went to KC from Asian University for Women in Bangladesh where she helped restart their Center for International Programs and migrate their degree audit system from pen and paper to a fully automated / electronic platform.  She also taught Zumba!

In 2012, Shelana joined Parker Executive Search as an associate working within the sports and higher education practices.  Prior to her time at PES she spent seven years working within intercollegiate athletics, at both the NCAA Division I and Division II levels.  

Shelana graduated from Abilene Christian University in 2004 with a BBA in Marketing and Management.  After working in the corporate banking industry and interning at NACWAA, she returned to Abilene, Texas to work for her alma mater as the Assistant Director of Athletics.  She earned her Master’s in Organizational and Human Resource Development in December 2007.  

Shelana enjoys international travel, cycling (both indoor and outdoor), music and being active in the local community.  She currently resides in Sandy Springs, Georgia.
