Kristi Willbanks

Kristi Willbanks has a unique and varied background in health and wellness, human resources and psychology. She has been a Group Exercise Instructor for over twenty years, teaching a variety of formats including Step, Strength Training/Toning & Conditioning, Cycle, Kickboxing, Boot Camp, Aqua Fit, Jazzercise, Pilates, and Yoga. Kristi is most passionate about bringing the benefits of Yoga to all, regardless of age or fitness level.  

Kristi holds multiple health-related certifications, including ACE Health Coach, AFAA Group Exercise Instructor, and 200 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher, and is currently earning ACE’s Behavior Change Specialist certification based on the coaching principles established by the International Coach Federation. 

Through Kristi’s work as a FranklinCovey facilitator and a Healthy Lifestyles Coach for the YMCA Diabetes Prevention Program, she has provided participants with the necessary education, resources and inspiration to help them achieve their goals. Kristi also shares her passion for health and wellness through the monthly “Live to Read” book club she leads at her local library. 

Kristi holds a Master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of North Texas and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Texas Christian University.

Kristi enjoys spending time with her family, walking with friends, reading, spoiling her dogs, and participating in community health events like the YMCA Turkey Trot and The Color Run.
