My name is Astrid Kleinsmith, and I was born and raised in Puerto Rico. I came to the states to study aerospace engineering at the University of Michigan, and then became an Air Force officer. However, I have always loved exercising and staying active. And, with dance being my passion, I became a ballet dancer afterwards. I wish it could’ve been forever! Where else could I go to get and stay in shape while dancing and having fun? Dance Jams, of course!
And so began my career in fitness. It is my passion to bring a smile to all my clients while having a great workout. However, not all movements are created equal. Correct form, personal attention and variety are very important to the fitness success of the individual. Therefore, I got certified as a Group Fitness Instructor as well, to provide knowledgeable advice and instruction based on the latest exercise guidelines. Health and fitness are a priority for our well-being. Why not have fun while getting fit? I help my clients get lost in the moment and have all their worries melt away. They leave my class with a full body, satisfying workout, without the stresses of the day, and with a great, big smile on their faces.
