Jaclyn Slauenwhite, owner/operator of Sweat Performance & Training is a certified group fitness instructor who has worked in the industry for 15 years. She is a passionate fitness enthusiast as well as a wife and mother of two boys which keeps her on her toes 24/7. Jaclyn teaches everything from indoor/outdoor bootcamps to spin classes as well as working with clients one on one, coaching small groups and being involved with corporate wellness. Some of her certifications include TRX, Physique, Agatsu Kettlebell and MOSSA Group Ride as well as having a degree in Criminology. Jaclyn strives to build on her education each year in order to keep up to date with the fitness industry and continually expand on her knowledge base. Jaclyn’s goal is to inspire, challenge and motivate people to have an active lifestyle and reach their own personal fitness goals.
Jaclyn has successfully completed 3 half marathons, has been the biker/runner for a team in a triathlon and just completed her first “solo” triathlon this past summer (Pike Lake Craven Genki sprint distance and Frank Dunn Olympic distance). She’s always looking for new ways to push her limits and challenge herself, which led her to sign up for her first triathlon. Not having spent much time in the pool since starfish, learning to swim was both challenging and rewarding. Growing up playing sports led Jaclyn to the active lifestyle that she lives today.
Jaclyn has found that you can always do more than you think and enjoys pushing people to their potential. Helping people achieve their goals, lead a healthy lifestyle and feel better about themselves is what makes it all worthwhile. Jaclyn’s dedication, commitment and love for her own training is something she is happy to be able to share with others. “Focus, be efficient and work hard. When you begin to see results, it all becomes easier”. Guaranteed, this is something that you’ll hear Jaclyn say more than once. She believes you are only given one body -- take care of it, respect it and love it!
