Kelly Rooney
Kelly’s yoga journey began in 2004 in South Africa at a meditation retreat. She fell in love with yoga as a gentle form of exercise and quickly began to feel the effects of the practice – physically, emotionally and spiritually. After years of sporadic practice, Kelly returned to yoga after the birth of her daughter and instantly remembered the connection between practising yoga and feeling strong, centered and calm. Kelly became a certified yoga instructor at Yandara Yoga Institute in Baja, Mexico in May 2016. Now Kelly is excited to share the health and wellness benefits of yoga in our community. “For me the perfect yoga class leaves me feeling like I had a great workout –a fabulously odd combination of energized and blissfully calm. I hope to create that feeling in my classes”.
