Katie has been practicing yoga for 10 years, and what started as stepping onto her mat once or twice a week, turned into her sharing the gift of yoga through teaching. She loves that she steps onto her mat to move for herself, but is apart of this larger community. Yoga is a never-ending learning journey, with infinite room for growth, physically and spiritually, and is why she steps onto her mat every single day.

Having completed her 200-hour training in May of 2016, with the intent of deepening her practice, but blossomed into her wanting to share the power of yoga with others. Yoga became an outlet for Katie to break away from the chaos of every day life, and to be present on and off the mat.

Katie’s classes are accessible to everyone and every body. She encourages people to allow their body to move the way it wants to move, removing all expectations that yoga should look and feel a certain way. Every body is different, and that’s the beautiful part. She is a passionate, encouraging, and creative teacher who provides a safe space for students to tap into and express parts of themselves they never knew existed!
