Having graduated from the Royal Ballet School (London) in 2006, Grace went on to dance professionally for the English National Ballet and Scottish Ballet, as well as touring internationally with West Side Story and CATS. Throughout her dance training and career Grace practiced Pilates to improve her ballet technique and prevent and rehabilitate injury, with consistently positive results. Grace retired from professional dance to focus full time on developing her Pilates practice, with a particular emphasis on rehabilitating sports injuries.

Grace currently works at ENERGY, the Cayman Island’s premier Pilates and fitness studio. Prior to this she was the lead instructor and owner of a Pilates studio in Jersey. The studio was located within a sports medicine clinic, which allowed Grace to work closely with medical practitioners such as physiotherapists, osteopaths and specialist sports general practitioners. Having worked in conjunction with the sports medicine clinic Grace has extensive experience of using Pilates as a rehabilitative exercise system and restorative method, more generally.

This combined background of dance and rehabilitation experience has prepared Grace to bring a variety of skills to fitness instruction, ranging from motivating, high intensity classes, to the care and consideration required when working with injuries and those with unique requirements.

Grace trained with Pilates teachers from Tring Park, the Royal Ballet, Michael King Pilates, Pilates Training Solutions and most recently BASI Pilates. She continues to attend courses and lectures and most recently became a BASI Master Pilates certified instructor.
