In 2009 I made the decision to focus on myself (after having 3 kids) and change my lifestyle. I lost 47 pounds by eating healthier and exercising, and I gained a lot of self confidence! A friend and fitness instructor encouraged me to become a group fitness instructor and share my passion with others! I completed my Group Ex certification in June 2013 and was able to take over a Tabata (HIIT) class for an instructor who was going back to college. I now teach Tabata 2 days a week. In December of 2013 I was encouraged by my BodyPump Instructor to go through the LesMills BodyPump training. I attended the BodyPump training in January of 2014 and am now teaching 3 BodyPump classes a week! I completed training for LesMills BodyBalance in 2024. I enjoy running and have completed many races at different lengths; from 5k's to Half Marathons.
