My first encounter with yoga was in a health club setting 12 years ago. I then felt a desire to further expand my initail infatuation with yoga. I enrolled in teacher training at Lotus House of Yoga in Omaha Ne. and completed my 200 RYT in October of 2013. I am , at present , furthering my training to attain the 500 RYT at Evolve to Harmony In Omaha Ne.

Upon completion of my training I was employed as an instuctor at Evolve Yoga in Sioux City, Ia.

In May of 2016 I opened my studio in Sioux City Ia., Underground Yoga. We offer Vinyasa, Yin and Hot Yoga. I am certified in all .

My classes are comprised of music, mindful movement, with attention to detail of alignment and breath. 

I have been married for 38 years  resulting in  3 children and 6 grandchildren. Prior to stating my studio I was and still am the owner of the The Salon, a hair styling business.
