Gale has been involved in the fitness industry for over 14 years and it is still her life’s passion.
Working at a local Country Club as there Fitness Professional has broadened her perspective on how a healthy body can change your life. And it is never too late to get started. She started a Pilates Program for the clubs members over 4 years ago and continues to be amazed by the changes in flexibility and strength she can see in her members. These exercises are “functional exercises”, designed to be appropriate to the needs of everyday living. They develop the areas of the body that need attention and build strength in our weakest areas. Building strength in the abdomen (powerhouse) is vital to most daily activities as it is this area which promotes core stability.
Improvements can be seen in posture, strength and functional flexibility but more importantly improved “quality of movement” which, in turn, greatly enhances our “quality of life”.
Gale also is a certified Personal Trainer. Working one on one and in small groups to provide a safe and effective workout specified to the individual needs of her clients. Perhaps the most satisfying accomplishment is when a client is able to bring it to the next level and there look of surprise when they do.
