Hi. My name is Karen Jett. I am a Group Fitness Instructor, certified with the American Fitness Professionals (AFPA) Council on Exercise. I have been doing Aerobics since the autumn of 2000. I was "hooked" from the night I attended my very first class, and began instructing not long afterward. Personally, if I had to name one thing that has been the most significant innovation in the evolution of group aerobics classes..... .....it would be the introduction of STEP Aerobics. Exercise is my passion! My goal is to ever improve my own health and fitness as well as the health and well being of my friends and clients. In addition to my fitness responsibilities, I am a career employee of Kroll, Inc., a High Risk Environment Training Facility. My fitness clients, my co-workers, and my friends and family will say that I am known for my organizational skills, my drive, my ability to get a lot of work done, and for my dedication to health and fitness. I used to be very overweight! I lost over 100 pounds more than 6 years ago. I remain excited at the prospect of being an example of fitness and I want to encourage others in their quest for weight loss, fitness, health and well-being.
