Yahaira Avila

My name is Yahaira Avila and I was born and raised in Puerto Rico. I currently live in Winter Garden, Florida as an elementary school teacher where I'm happily married and have a beautiful two year old boy and three dogs. I've always had a passion for dancing and being in shape, so when I discovered Zumba in 2010 at a gym, I knew I'd found something I loved. Ever since then, I'd practice Zumba several days a week either at the gym or at my home. Realizing the positive and amiable community atmosphere Zumba created, I decided to become an instructor and received my certification in 2015. I now happily lead Zumba for various gyms and my neighborhood/community and hope to continue expanding my reach as a Zumba instructor in hopes to aid in the growth of Zumba community.
