I went to my first "hot" yoga class to find something I could add to my running regimen. When I walked info class I knew it was different. I felt something in me begin to stir after ONE CLASS. After that I worked yoga into my daily life.
I wasn't sure what was changing, but something was stirring. This yoga practice helped me to "be still" and to know that there is someone bigger then me in control. I knew I wanted to become a teacher and got my certification. I continue to learn on a daily basis from teachers and students around the country and from ones right here in our own backyard.
I had the privilege of opening a neighborhood studio in 2008 and it thrived as the local "home" studio for 8 years. My classes are fun, inspiring and allow you to feel completely safe and challenged. You will initially come to yoga for the physical "practice', but what will keep you coming are the changes you will see and feel, physically, mentally and spiritually.
