Devin Murphy

My name is Devin Murphy, I'm from an area about 15 miles North West of Sacramento called Roseville. I have been a sports/workout junkie all my life and haven't learned any differently. I began my passion for the fitness lifestyle in high school when I started lifting weights and crossfit training for my football and basketball seasons. I went on to attend Cal State Monterey Bay where I continued to play basketball at the college level, while also studying Kinesiology to become a fitness trainer. I can remember thinking to myself after I finished my first day at school saying, "This is exactly what I want to do for the rest of my life". Ever since then, I've been furthering my knowledge and trying to become the best fitness coach I can possibly be. I went on to play basketball and finish my degree by the summer of 2016 and then moved back home to Sacramento, CA in search of employment. I was blessed with an opportunity at a local gym called Crunch where I am currently a personal trainer and group fitness instructor. It is truly my passion and I love every second of what I do. I've once heard, "If you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life", and that quote couldn't be more true.
