Rachel Wronowski

Rachel's curiosity about yoga started when she was in high school. She acquired a Rodney Yee VHS tape and practiced at home with it. She noticed it helped her relax easier and get to sleep faster. Later, throughout college and afterward, Rachel was involved in a variety of fitness activities: running, biking, spin, cardio kickboxing, swimming, etc. It was at the gyms she frequented that she first started taking yoga classes here and there. Then, in the new year of 2010, she made a resolution to begin a regular yoga practice at a local studio, and it stuck. She desired and appreciated the mind-body connection that yoga offers. The deeper she got into her practice, the more she recognized the positive changes it encouraged in her physically, emotionally, and most important, mentally. Because yoga helps tame the mind. She believes in her heart that a consistent yoga practice can be transformative. That it can make you a happier, healthier, better person, regardless of where you’re starting from.

With a conviction to spread the yoga love, and after 8+ years of practicing, she decided she wanted to be able to share it with other people. So, she took off to the jungle of Costa Rica to attend the Marianne Wells Yoga School, 200 hour teacher training, in Cahuita. There, she received an education with a strong emphasis alignment and anatomy, and truly learning to teach yoga for “every-body.”

Rachel grew up on the west of coast of Florida, in Bradenton, near the Sarasota Bay. She attended college in Tampa and received a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design in 2005. Soon after graduating, she moved to Orlando to begin her career path, and has been there ever since. She scored a great apartment in a cute neighborhood downtown, where she lives with her dog, Nugget, and cat, Sebastian. She does design and project management for a commercial flooring company, has a small jewelry line, makes art, and teaches yoga. She loves traveling, live music, reading books, and enjoying the great outdoors! Her favorite yoga pose is down-dog. Her motto for life is, “Make it happen!”
