Elizabeth began practicing yoga in in 2001 with DVDs playing on her computer. She upgraded to classes at a gym while in grad school and finally became a serious practitioner in 2011. In 2014, she found Dawn Yager by a happy accident and has never left. During her first class, Elizabeth knew two things: practicing at Shanti would be challenging and her life would change as a result of the practice. Elizabeth completed meditation teach training at Shanti in Fall 2015 and her 200-hour vinyasa teacher training in Summer 2016.
In her all-levels classes, she pushes her students to progress in their poses and in their lives off the mat. The chance to serve as a teacher at Shanti Yoga in myrtle Beach has been a blessing for Elizabeth.
