Katie started taking yoga for stress relief and began to notice the uplifting and soothing changes in her mind and body, Katie was able to fully appreciate the meaning of self-care. She is a true believer in needing to take care of yourself before you can take care of others. Katie encourages students to focus on themselves both physically and mentally as well as the importance of "me time." Obtaining her Masters in Social Work in 2007 and completing the 200 hour Teacher Training in Dec 2011 at Corepower Chicago, she is excited to continue to spread the love and world of yoga in a friendly, nonjudgmental environment.
