Sheri started practicing yoga 13 years ago when she was pregnant with her second daughter, Natalie. Yoga was the one thing she could do that not only made her feel good but also allowed her to get a little exercise in. She struggled with her practice especially in her upper back area that is more rounded and tight and with coordinating the breath with her practice. After her daughter was born Sheri continued practicing yoga at different studios and from home.
Sheri’s teaching journey started in May of 2015. Sheri’s desire to understand yoga better brought about her decision to obtain her 200 hour teacher training/immersion certification – not really planning on teaching! However, after graduating with the required hours some opportunities started presenting themselves and she quickly discovered how much she loved to teach. “It’s such a pleasure seeing people progress through their practice really discovering the full benefits of yoga.” There is definitely a greater force out there leading us on our path of destiny and often you find that the journey is completely different than what you expected!
