Marissa Herr

Hi I'm Marissa and I love sharing my passion of yoga with travelers of all ages and experience levels. I am a California navitive, born and raised on the beautiful sunny coastline. I started practicing yoga when I was 12 years old in a tiny mystical studio covered in vines. It was an amazing experience and I greatly looked up to my teachers--I never thought that 11 years later I would be guiding classes of my own! With my name literally meaning “of the sea", my path has naturally lead me to teaching yoga on the beach, where my heart truly lies. Teaching yoga at an oceanside hotel, I meet travelers of all ages and experience levels. I also teach paddleboard yoga which is such a fun and adventurous way to incorporate the love of yoga and the love of the water! I absolutly love sharing this unique way to practice yoga. You can usually find me hiking, rock climbing, or teaching yoga on the beach. Exploring this practice has been a journey of peace, healing, and adventure that I hopes to share with each and every one of my students. I encourages students to leave the world behind, get out on the water and connect with their true selves…and of course to have fun and never be afraid to fall in!
