Ruth Hartanto

I've been working at the City of Ottawa as a political assistant for the past nine years and attended the fitness classes at our employee gym. All the instructors are City employees. They were looking for more instructors and encouraged me to become one as I liked the classes so much. Originally, from Indonesia, I moved to Maryland with my family when I was two. I lived there until I went to university in Ottawa, which is shere I met my husband. We have three children. We try to maintain an active lifestyle with them, cycling in the summer and skating in the winter.
