Brianna Morgan

Growing up, I was the nine year old girl who led stretching exercises at recess to help my friend reach her goal of becoming flexible enough to do the splits. After she accomplished her goal, a spark lit inside me and I've been helping people reach their goals ever since. 

I owe my fitness enthusiasm to my mom. During the summer, I remember waking up to my mom doing exercise videos in the living room and often joining her. She inspired me to be active and helped me realize how important it is to take care of the bodies we've been blessed with. 

As the Distinguished Young Woman of UT for 2013, I promoted the organization's platform of "Be Your Best Self" throughout the state of Utah. When asked what my favorite element of the program was, I always replied "Be Healthy" because I learned that health is everything. Without our health, we can't do anything else in this life. 

Exercise is my mood-regulator. When I'm active, I feel my best. I am more productive with my time, I sleep better, have more energy, treat my family and friends better, am happier, less-stressed, more successful, etc. People who work on their fitness naturally become better versions of themselves. The most rewarding part of my job is watching my clients' lives change and knowing I played a part in their progress.
