Irena Stojkov

Irena has been teaching Water Fitness since 2006. She started right after taking her certification as the swimming pool where she got certified selected her among the 10 participants and offered her a position as water fitness instructor. She’s been teaching ever since. She’s an architect during the day, and a water fitness instructor in the evenings and weekends. This is truly a passion for her!

Besides teaching in various swimming pools she also taught at a Resort in Sardegna (Italy) in summer 2017, where she was not only the fitness instructor, but also part of the entertainment team performing as actress and entrainer.

In 2014 she moved from Bologna (Italy) to Cambridge (MA, United States) and she taught classes at the YMCA and at Harvard University.

Her students define her teaching style “serious playfulness” as her classes are always challenging and engaging for the body while playful and joyful for the soul.
