Yoga has been an ever-evolving practice ever since discovering it in 2006.  What began on a physical level has become into a practice that helps me transform every time I step onto my mat. I am passionate about being a life-long learner of yoga and movement to help others heal and achieve their fitness and health goals. My preparation for class is rooted in the methodology of mindfully attuning to the needs of my students depending on their age, level of experience, and unique needs and goals. I believe that effective and powerful connection with students is best achieved by helping each unique individual feel seen, heard, and felt. As a yoga instructor, my mission is to empower students to openly express, honor, and experience the sense of being in their unique and truest selves.  With a compassionate and truthful heart I blend dynamic breath, conscious movement, and deep self-examination to help students safely explore their own beings physically, mentally, and spiritually.  I believe that yoga has a multitude of expressions and can truly transform each of us, teaching us to passionately experiences ourselves and feel more at home in our own bodies.

By planning out each sequence with thoughtfulness and intention, I am able to define the purpose behind each sequence while seamlessly instructing the class through all touch points: verbal cues, hands-on adjustments, music, and themes. Completing my 200 hour Power Yoga Teaching Training at Core Power Yoga equipped me with the skills and passionate to continue in my creative practice as a movement teacher and exposed me to a rich and vibrant multi-cultural crowd of creative and passionate yoga practitioners, healers, and creative coaches. As teachers and practitioners, we dream of change and being of service to our students. As a yoga instructor teaching Power Vinyasa classes at Core Power Yoga, Seventh Chakra Yoga, and 3E Yoga and Therapy, one of the ways that I do that is through engaging and dynamic classes full of creative transitions that connect students with their infinite capacity to experiment and courageously go somewhere new within their bodies. I encourage students to turn off the critical parts of their brains to experience a state of “flow”, invite in confidence, clarity, and ease, and leave feeling more spacious inside.
