My name is Christie Love Etter, aka Christie Love. I have always had a love for dance, theater and the arts. I went through a period of depression, and subsequent weight gain from medication and overeating. I decided to back to movement again and started taking Zumba. It helped me feel alive again and as the weight started to fall off, I decided that I would make the plunge the become a certified instructor myself. So I took the training, and was soon busy teaching classes of my own. A year later I went for my AFAA Group Fitness Certification, and I've since received certifications in other formats of Zumba, Pilates, POP Pilates, and bootybarre. I enjoy learning new ways to move the body and receiving new education. I am currently teaching Zumba and Pilates and continue to enjoy being an instructor. I strongly feel that movement is medicine and is one of the keys to staying not only physically, but mentally fit as well.
