My journey with yoga began eight years ago as a college assignment while completing my BA in Exercise and Health Sciences. Asked to try a new exercise, I chose yoga and was immediately hooked and knew I needed more.
To me, yoga is not just an exercise; it is a way of life. Yoga is a practice of the mind, body and the breath. Yoga is a commitment to self-discovery, personal improvement and peace of mind.
I traveled to Costa Rica to complete my 200 hour intensive yoga teacher training with Banyan Gallagher. It was an amazing experience and I learned more than I could have imagined. I will forever be a student of the practice and am truly grateful for the wisdom my teacher shared with me.
Combining my knowledge of the body, love for helping others and experiences as both student and teacher, I am eager to share this practice of the mind, body and breathe. I seek to help others thrive in life by nurturing body, mind and soul while having fun!
