Coby Blanco

Coby was born and raised in Northern California with her younger sister and brother. She attended undergraduate school at San diego State University (SDSU), where she obtained a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology-Athletic Training emphasis as well as a minor in Spanish. While at SDSU she was a member of the nationally ranked rowing team, her lightweight boat was top 10 in the nation. Post graduation Coby worked at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo (SLO) as an Athleitc Trainer. Over her two years here, she was assigned to work with Football, track and field and Women's basketball, but helped with all sports.  This is also where she discovered team in training and raised $5,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society while training for her first half and full marathon. She had a lot of fun learnign about long distance training and has done several 10k and Half Marathons since. But one Full marathon was good enough. After working in SLO for 2 years, Coby moved to Utah to attend Graduate School. She received a Masters in Science in Health and Human Movement and moved to Las Vegas to work as an athletic trainer in the Performing Arts. It was a 3 year journey of gaining experience at differnet levels (High school, USA Volleyball, even just working as a server) before she landed her first on call position with Cirque du Soleil circuit. Then in Oct. of 2014 she began working as the head Athletic Trainier for a new show in town Showstoppers. It was a great experience, the show was open for 2 years before finally closing the curtain one last time.  Coby was fortuante to be able to move "next door" and continue working in the performing arts as the strength coach and athletic trainer with Le Reve (also at the Wynn). 

Coby married her Husband in Oct. of 2016. She resides in Las vegas with Aaron adn their 2 dogs. And is just starting training for another Bodybuilding competition. She first discovered figure bodybuilding while in Graduate School and has done them ever since! She loves a challenge!!
