Greetings!

As a member of the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) and after enjoying a very rewarding career teaching and coaching at both the elementary and secondary levels, I am currently continuing to follow my enthusiasm for teaching in the discipline of Yoga. I completed the Strength and Balance 200 hour Yoga Alliance Teacher Training course in May 2017 and had the wonderful experience of guiding others toward their journey to better health and wellbeing in my hometown of Timmins, Ontario, Canada. We have now moved to southern Ontario where I'm currently teaching a ninety minute yoga class twice per week as well as a forty-five minute Tai Chi Qigong Shibashi class once a week when I'm not teaching at resorts.  I also fill in for other instructors when needed in the areas of group fitness, meditation and yoga.

I attended many workshops during the 2018, 2019 and 2023 Yoga Conferences in Toronto with a focus on the flow of energy, safe alignment and effective cuing and continue my learning through online courses, retreats and personal reading.  

My teaching style accommodates the ability of the different students and can vary within in the same class.
