My name is Kelly Wildeman and at 5 feet 4 inches and 115 pounds, I would best describe myself as a fitness enthusiast! I was born on March 17, 1981 in Harrisburg, PA and from a very young age, physical activity has been an important part of my life. I played a variety of sports growing up and even received a scholarship to play Division 1 soccer at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA. In college, I studied Exercise Science and Leadership with a minor in Nutrition. Directly following my undergraduate degree, I made an important decision to continue my education and earn my Master of Science degree in Exercise Physiology. My passion is encouraging individuals to achieve better overall wellness from the inside out. In my current job, a Health Fitness Specialist for Medifit Corporate Services, I have the opportunity to have an impact on various individuals' lifestyles on a day to day basis. Each week I teach a variety of group exercise classes (i.e., yoga, spin, body sculpt, abs), personal train clients, administer fitness assessments, conduct exercise prescriptions, monitor and motivate exercise participants accordingly, and perform administrative tasks. Although I currently teach group exercise classes in the corporate setting, I have also enjoyed teaching in the commercial and university settings as well. My overall focus as a fitness professional is to motivate others to feel good about themselves! I strive to educate others about the importance of physical activity and making it a lifestyle habit. As a highly energized individual, I look forward to tackling challenges and helping individuals succeed at reaching their fitness and wellness goals!
