Raphael Terry

My name is Raphael Alexander Terry, I've been a Yoga instructor for 6 years now and I draw upon a wide range of experiences to deliver some of the best fitness classes around. I have been a fitness enthusiast my entire life, from playing every sport I could as a child to going through for Health Wellness & Fitness in post secondary to break into the fitness industry. Most of the work I have done revolves around mobility and flexibility training with elderly and sedentary individuals, though I do have experience working with young athletes.

My passion in the fitness industry has always been in Yoga. My teaching style focusues on the restorative side of Yoga, as well as including preventitive maintenace exercise into my programs. As someone who has experience with a severe lower back injury, I have an acute understanding of how important safe movement is and my style of teaching reflects this. I also try to insert a bit of good humour into my classes, making fitness fun, as well as providing results, is part of what keeps my client base strong. When I'm not at work or working out, odds are you can find me in the kitchen. I have worked in a few restaurant kitchens over the years and have cultivated a love of food and cooking!
