Samantha Harper-Robins, has a BA Hons in Contemporary Dance and is a trained fitness instructor, practicing Pilates for many years as part of her dance training, she finally decided to train as an instructor and has never looked back.
With a background in teaching dance and somatics, training in STOTT PILATES has given Samantha the knowledge and passion to bring quality Pilates instruction to the table and advocate the true benefits that detailed and informed practice can bring to the individual.
‘Understanding the true power of Pilates in the main fitness industry has been a grey area. Pilates itself is based on an in-depth technical foundation, that must be understood in personal application to your body to be fully utilised. In a larger exercise group, instructors usually don’t have the time to give the attention to detail to teach and inform each participant what there bodies need let alone excellent practice. One to one sessions, duets and small groups (max 5) give individuals the attention, information and ongoing tools they need to really take on the Pilates method for the health of the pelvic floor, deep abdominal and spinal muscles, for life long reward, injury rehab and prevention.’ Samantha Harper-Robins – Founder/Director
