Patti DeBlass is a E-500 RYT yoga instructor, Certified Yoga Therapist and certified Personal Trainer with specialty training in Yoga for Seniors from Duke Intergrative Medicine, Yin Yoga and PTSD-Traumatic Stress. She is currently pursuing her Yoga Therapy Certification. She enjoys the challenge of creating group classes to suit her individual students needs physically, medically and spiritually. She is passionate about the adaptation of yoga for each student and spends as much time as she can in continuing education to keep her knowledge base growing. Patti is the founder of the nonprofit Blooms That Brighten Inc. , whose mission is to provide flower arrangements for residents of continuing care communities free of charge. She is also one of the founding members of the nonprofit Shanti Garudasana Yoga School whose mission is to provide scholarships for yoga teacher training at William & Mary and to make yoga accessible to all. When not practicing or teaching yoga, she enjoys spending time outdoors, especially with her husband, two daughters and three rescue dogs.
