I have 10 years of coaching experience with students of all ages and skill levels Currently, I work as Site Director of the Langley Swim & Tennis Club in McLean, VA. I graduated from Virginia Tech in 2012 where I played Division I tennis for 4 years and achieved an ITA team ranking of #16 in the nation. At the junior tennis level, I achieved a ranking of #1 in the state of Virginia, #1 in the USTA Mid-Atlantic section and #50 nationally. I also played 4 years of high school tennis for Flint Hill School in Oakton, Virginia, leading the Huskies to 3 State championships while earning recognition as a two-time Virginia State Player of the Year and a two-time Washington Post, “All-Met” First Team honoree.
Coaching Philosphy: to understand the goals and aspirations of each individual, work with the individual in creating a development plan, and maximize potential in order to meet and exceed his/her goals. As a lifetime tennis player who competed at a national junior and a D-1 Collegiate level I want to ensure the players are learning the competitive and technical aspects of the game while having fun in this lifelong sport.
