Sherrilyn Billger is an award winning fusion dancer from Philadelphia, USA. She has performed across the country and in Europe in multiple dance forms, including bellydance, tap, jazz, modern, and West African. She has nearly 30 years of training, and has studied with Ariel Weiss Holyst, Shelly Oliver, Karen Dearborn, Sara Semonis, Jimmy Payne, Jr., Kaeshi Chai, Tamalyn Dallal, Artemis Mourat, and many other outstanding master teachers. Performance highlights include being a featured dancer for Muhlenberg College’s performance of The Pajama Game, receiving the People’s Choice Award in a Bellydancer USA Competition, being a featured performer in Leyla Jouvana’s European Oriental Dance Festival in Germany, appearing in Stars and Stripes, starring in Tanya Picard’s theatrical dance production of Medea, and performing in Journey Along the Silk Road in New York and Follow Your Heart in Toronto. Sherrilyn currently performs fusion dance as a soloist and with Philly Follies. Sherrilyn is a Registered Yoga Teacher, holds a PhD in Economics, and is on her way to becoming a certified arborist.
