Gregory Schierer

Dr. Schierer is originally from Bradford, Pennsylvania, where he earned a physical therapy background from Pennsylvania State University. He continued his education at Lock Haven University in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania, where he earned a B.S. degree in Health Science, Pre PT. Dr. Schierer continued on to earn his Doctorate degree in Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, New York, where he graduated as a member of the Phi Kappa Omega Society for high honors. Dr. Schierer proudly served his country by joining the Pennsylvania Army National Guard, serving in Bradford, Pennsylvania’s 1/112th National Guard Infantry Division. Dr. Schierer was honorably discharged in July, 2006.

While enrolled at New York Chiropractic College, Dr. Schierer performed an advanced internship with Bethesda National Navy Medical Center where he had advanced study to include 480 hours of hospital based chiropractic with rotations through: General Radiology, Neuro-radiology, Neurosurgery, Podiatry, Endocrinology, General Orthopedics, and Physical Medicine.

Dr. Schierer plans to continue his education in the areas of sports medicine injury treatment and prevention, and advanced Neurology. He has continued his education adding the practice of Acupuncture and oriental medicine to his medical license. In addition to his educational interests, Dr. Schierer enjoys fly-fishing, hiking, camping, mountain biking, skiing, kayaking, soccer, carpentry, and reading.
