My name is Holly Attfield, and I'm a group fitness instructor and RYT-200 yoga teacher.
In my spare time, I love to road cycle in Caledon, mountain bike along the Bruce Trail and hike up in Bruce Grey Simcoe counties. I have participated in the Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer since 2015. It's a 200 kilometer road cycling event from Toronto to Niagara Falls, Ontario to raise money for the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation. In the winter, I
I am also an avid downhill skier, and participate in recreational ski racing during the winter months at the Caledon Ski Club.
As a long time fitness enthusiast, I've always been a participant in yoga and group fitness classes. I decided to become certified to teach group fitness in 2015. My passion is step aerobics, and that is the discipline I began my teaching career with.
I decided to pursue Zumba certification in 2017, both because I love the Caribbean vibe (it reminds me of being near the beach!) and because it increased my marketability to teach more classes.
In 2019, I decided to add teaching yoga to my skillset, and in March 2021 I graduated and became a Yoga Alliance certified 200-hr yoga teacher.
I recently returned from a vacation to Punta Cana, where I stayed at the Secrets Punta Cana Royal Beach. There, I took yoga classes daily from Megan, who was fantastic! Thank you so much Megan (@megtrz)! I inquired about how she came to be teaching there, and she told me about Fit Bodies, Inc.. I'm looking forward to moving away from my full time work in the next few years, and focusing on a full time fitness teaching career. I love tropical vacation travel, and feel this is the ideal fit for me!
Thank you! :)
