I am USPTA certified teaching professional from Michigan. I am currently working at South Shore Health and Racquet Club where I mainly work with the junior tennis program and adult doubles leagues. Prior to South Shore, I taught at Point O' Woods Country Club and Chickaming Country Club where I provided private, semi-private, and group lessons to players of all ages and abilities. In addition, I also taught at In the Zone Tennis Academy, which focuses largely on developing junior players into prominant high school and college players.
I trained and played competatively as a junior player. In high school, I won both a team and individual flight state championship, which earned me a scholarship to play at Aquinas College. At Aquinas, I played 1st doubles as well as 2nd and 3rd singles for all four years. During that time my doubles partner and I broke an NAIA record for most career wins as a doubles team. Additionally, we achieved a career national ranking of #7 as a doubles team. Individually, I was also a 4 year All-American honorable mention and an Academic All-American during my senior year. Following college, I attended law school at Michigan State University and received my professional tennis teaching certification.
