Hey, I am Anna!

I am from a really small country village in the UK (although I have travelled and worked around the world a lot!), have been exercising and doing Yoga since my teens, and have always been athletic and interested in health and wellbeing. I am now 50 years young and feeling the best that I ever have!

I received a Business and Marketing qualification while working at a Nuclear Power Station straight out of school, moved to the city of Bristol to be a PA for a director of a Supermarket chain, then left to travel the world for 2.5 years. I was lucky to live and work in Australia and New Zealand, and travel around South East Asia, the Pacific and the West Coast of the USA.

On my return I moved to London and worked again as a PA for a Hotel chain, leaving after a year to move to Portugal to live and work as a representative of an upmarket holiday company. I then travelled again to Australia to live and work at the Olympics, and to travel around South East Asia and Indonesia, before heading home to work for a few months as a recruitment consultant. I moved to the Spanish Island of Ibiza to work and live, before heading off again to live and work in Australia and New Zealand, and travelling further through Asia.

My final big trip in my early 30’s was India, Nepal, China, overland through Mongolia to Russia and into Estonia.

I returned home to train as a Yoga Teacher (3 years training) and a Hairdressser (2 years training), and worked in a salon and set up my own Yoga and Wellbeing business. I was much more successful as a Yoga Teacher so went exclusively to that, and have never looked back! Teaching Yoga has brought together all the skills that I have gained through the wonderful experiences I have had in my life. My nature is bubbly and enthusiastic and I love to share Yoga with small and large groups, and beginners through to those with more experience. I am conscientious, hard working, diligent, kind and empathetic, encouraging where needed, and able to connect to my students quickly and create rapport, so that I can guide them safely and help them to really see the beauty of all aspects of Yoga, not just the asana elements. I am used to managing my time, confident at self promoting, proficient in adapting to new situations, enjoy meeting new people whether they are management, staff, students or vacationers, and always keep good time when starting/finishing classes.
