- Kelly Gant
Kelly specializes in teaching yoga and pilates to the non-traditional client. She has been teaching yoga for 13 years and pilates for 17 years. Her yoga and pilates students have included professional athletes, student athletes, special needs children, those students working with physical disabilities, those challenged with chronic pain and all those in between. She has sought special certifications in Adapting Yoga for Disabilities, Yin Yoga and Yoga for Trauma, specifically PTSD. Kelly completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training with Nikki Myers through CITYOGA in 2009. She has had the privilege of studying with Paul Grilley and has received her Yin Yoga: Practice and Theory Teacher Training certificate. She completed her training for Adapting Yoga for Disability Level 1 with Matthew Sanford and has received her Warriors at Ease Teacher Certification, which brings the principals of yoga to Veterans and active duty military members. Kelly is a Teacher-in-Training Level 1 for iRest Yoga Nidra through the Integrative Restoration Institute. She is a Y12SR Certified Teacher which "connects the dots between the ancient wisdom of yoga...tools of the 12-step program and the latest research on trauma healing and neurobiology."
Kelly has achieved her pilates Master Trainer designation by completing over 10,000 hours of teaching mat, reformer, cadillac and chair classes and private clients. She was certified through the Body Arts and Science International 500-hour certification program in 2006.
