My first contact with yoga and its benefits happened in a college physical education class I was taking in 2004 during my studies back in Québec. Right away I noticed that yoga was having a huge impact on my emotional state, energy & stress levels, so I started using the practice as a way of managing anxiety and physical discomforts in my daily life. Practicing on & off with various teachers for a number of years, it’s only after becoming a mother that I came back to yoga on a more regular basis as a way to, again work on calming my mind and relieving pain caused by the changes that my body was going through, but also as a way to strengthen my body and my mind for the upcoming challenges of life.
Ever since I started yoga, I felt like I would love to share my passion for yoga with others. I completed my 200 hours yoga teacher training at Essential Yoga Studio in Fernie, BC in October 2015 and I now offer classes both in French and English to the beautiful community of Jasper, AB. I strongly believe that there is something for everyone in yoga and invite students from all levels & age to take part in my classes. I have a strong interest for philosophy, chanting, relaxation techniques, children yoga, hatha/vinyasa/restorative/yin yoga, as well as education & healthy lifestyles.
I also love travelling and meeting people from all over the world. I have a lot of experience working in the tourism & hospitality industry as well as with children, so it's easy for me to connect with people of all ages & background.
