Yoga is my passion. Multiple certifications and nearly 30 years teaching experience allows me to skillfully instruct yoga to all ability levels. Whether through vinyasa, ashtanga, slow flow, yin, Thai Yoga, sound bath or restorative, even a beginner will find my classes welcoming and enjoyable.
I am also a certified personal trainer, Pilates Studio and mat instructor, barre and aqua instructor and massage therapist. I love teaching group exercise classes that are fun, energetic, educational and above all safe. Providing modifications and progressions for various skill levels and medical conditions is one of my strengths and helps to make my teaching accessible.
As a Titelist Performance Institute Certified Golf Conditioning Specialist, I am able to make yoga, Pilates and barre movements relevant to the vacationing golfer and get them to come back to class for those extra yards in their swing.
Over the years I have been creating and leading successful in-depth workshop intensives and retreats exploring yoga, meditation, breathing (pranayama) , chakras, nutrition and related topics.
Personally, I love swimming and won a US Master's National Title in the 100m Breaststroke in 2013. As a former tri-athlete, bike racer and competitive equestrian I can relate to guests who share these passions, showing them how yoga and movements can enhance their performance.
Worth noting, I worked as an Office Manager for a small resort in French Polynesia which also prepares me to understand the resort environment and to be more successful in the unique situation of working for and living amidst hotel guests. I am fluent in French.
At home, I am an aspiring writer who enjoys gardening, cooking and traveling the world with my husband Bob. The other loves of my life are my 17 year old thoroughbred horse named Rocky and my 4 cats.
