My name is Ben Malt and I am a 25 year old living in Toronto, Canada. I am an avid tennis player, fan and coach. With the rise of tennis in Canada the past few years (through Raonic, Bouchard, Nestor, Pospisil and Shapovalov), it has been an exciting time to be involved in the game. Around 3 years ago I moved to Toronto, Canada where I took on a position at Bell Canada as a Manager in their Marketing and Finance departments. Before joining Bell, I was a Tennis Professional at two tennis clubs in London, Ontario for 8 years. While at these clubs I had the opportunity to do all aspects of being a Tennis Professional including running tournaments, clinics and lessons, organizing leagues and the club and teaching members of all ages. In the summers I also ran the sport camps which included tennis, basketball, soccer, volleyball and more. Although I have still been able to play the game in Toronto, I miss the rush from teaching and being on court all the time. That's why I have made the decision to head to Central America in hopes of finding a position teaching at a club and getting back to being part of the game I love.
