John Constable

John Constable is a physical education teacher at York High School in Elmhurst, Illinois.  He received his bachlors degree from Elmhurst College in Elmhurst, Illinois, graduating with a degree in Kinesiology.  He received his masters degree from Concordia University in field of Educational Leadership.  While attending Elmhurst Collge he played two years of collegiate basketball, while also serving as a camp counslor for Michael Jordan basketball camp in the summer.  After graduation he began his teaching career at York High School, including coaching positions in basketball, volleyball, and track & field.  Within the classroom and coaching field, he was dedicated to the development and improvement of all individuals fitness levels. As a professional in the education field, he specialized in a variety of fitness activities, along with individual and team sports.  Currently in his 18th year of teaching, he has grown proud of creating a personal fitness class that specialies in diversity of fitness exercises.  Equipment that he is wll equiped to use includes; bosu balls, stability balls, dumbbells, jump ropes, medicine balls, kettle bells, plyometric boxes, and a wide range of body weight exercies. As a 40 year old husband and father of three young children, living an active and physical lifestyle has become a priority.  Sharing his passion and enthusiasm for fitness is also very important.  Making other people feel better about themselves and improving their self worth through the relationship of fitness has given him a new incentive as he begins this new phase of his life.
