Leonard attended Troy University and played eight years in the NFL for the Cincinnati Bengals, Minnesota Vikings, and the Carolina Panthers after being selected in the third round of the 1992 NFL Draft. He is an Executive Director for the NFL, an Ambassador for the NFL and an NFL Transitions Coach, where he serves current and former players with resources and support as they transition into and out of the NFL. He is a performance coach for NASCAR and for the past 18 years, his company TRiLUCENT global has been doing global personal, executive coaching and speaking for fortune 100 & 500 companies. Leonard is certified by ICF (International Coaching Federation), Coachville, The Robert Hartman Institute in Axiology, “Who Moved my Cheese” Change Essentials, Managing Millennials” and The Human Element.” He holds a degree in Business Administration and his second degree in Communications. He is the author of the book “Beyond the Locker Room”. He acted in the movie Radio with Cuba Gooding Jr and in the television series “One Tree Hill”. In 2011, Leonard was elected to the Lees McRae Football Hall of Fame and his High School Hall of Fame in 2014, where he also had his number 23 jersey retired. He has a daughter who is a Senior at Georgia Tech where she also runs track. Leonard truly has a gift to inspire the masses to reach their full potential in every aspect of their lives. Leonard, has taught group ex classes for the past 18 years.
