Movement has always been part of my life being a professional dancer and ballet instructor. I have served as dance faculty at Camden County College, coached at Alvernia University, toured internationally and currently teach at local studios. My yoga journey began in 2002 when I decided to take my first class at a local gym while in college. After a couple of weeks I quickly noticed the benefits the practice had on my health and was hooked. Yoga had been recreation for me for years until I realized it is something I am truly passionate about. In 2015 I decided it was time to merge teaching dance with teaching yoga. In 2016 I completed the 200 hour teacher training program at Shri Yoga and Wellness and currently enjoy sharing my love of yoga with others. Throughout each class I emphasize hip and core stability. I encourage students to allow the breath to guide them through challenging moments both on and off of their mat as a way of cultivating self acceptance and calm in their lives.
