Vicki is a successful graphic designer, mother of 2, and wife. For many years, she chased the stereotype of suburban Americana, believing that she was on the right track because she was doing what was expected of her. But year after year, she knew that there was more that she was meant for — more that she was capable of doing. Graphic design was one outlet for her creativity, but she needed to find an outlet that didn’t require the buzz of the computer screen — she needed a creative outlet that allowed her to have a more personal connection with others. In 2002 she started taking yoga classes and over time she became more and more drawn to the transformational power of yoga. She felt the healing power, the increased self-awareness, the peacefulness, and the empowerment that it can bring. In 2017, she took the plunge and completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training at Perennial Yoga & Meditation. Vicki’s teaching style has a warm and flowing energy — she strives for a human connection with each of her students. Vicki approaches every class with a sense of adventure because she knows that on the good days and the crazy days, a little yoga can go a long way to sooth the soul.
