Briefly, I spent eight invigorating years teaching art to children in New York City. While I loved sharing art with students and working with my colleagues, yoga and meditation was positively transforming my perception and creating a noticeable energetic shift in my classroom.  I felt the need to delve into a deeper understanding and potentially how to share that understanding with others. I left New York City for South America with a backpack and open mind. After spending seven months studying, teaching and exploring in Peru and Colombia I returned to my birthplace in upstate, New York.

My classes vary between muscle toning vinyasa, meditative hatha and relaxing yin in group and private classes for all ages including children on the Autism Spectrum and eldars with Parkinson’s Disease. I also teach a Creative Writing and Mindful Movement at the local jail in Ulster County. This class offers justices involved men and women a "Mindful Self Help", trauma informed class that incorporates yoga, meditation, writing, and facilitated group discussion to develop tools to access their higher potential while serving their time or awaiting trial.

I fully believe that practicing yoga and meditation increases one’s ability to connect with one’s breath and body, thus approaching a deeper awareness of one’s existence. These tools, offered, can help one tap into the dormant and infinite potential.
