Deborah Killian

I taught in public schools as a special education teacher then ended my 30 plus years of teaching as a Professional Development Specialist. That means I presented at workshops for teachers. Taught from 1982 to 2013. Then joined a gym to workout and was asked to help out the gym and obtain an aqua certification. 

In August 2015, I attended SCW fitness Education in Dallas to obtain my aqua certification. Then in 2017, I went back to SCW in Dallas Conference to update my skills in aquatics. I began teaching water classes in September at Christus Fitness Club in Shreveport.  During the 2016 to 2017 year found an Acquapole class and loved it. So obtained my certification in it and taught it from January to May of 2017. 

Then in October of 2017 traveled to Memphis to obtain my Zumba Basic and Zumba Aqua certification. Have not taught Aqua Zumba yet. May try in April and May as sub for another instructor while she is out for maternity leave.  Currently will be teaching a core ab class also.
