I have been training muay thai, Thailand's National Sport, since 1990. While pursuing an amatuer career as a fighter, I attended Seneca college to study fitness, physical education, and sports nutrition. I have traveled twice to Thailand to further develop my skills as a trainer. My trainer in Toronto is the legendary Master Suchart. He has been an invaluable reasource to me, and a great mentor. My education, under his guidance, has nver stopped.
In 1997 I managed a fitness, boxing and muay thai facility in Brampton Ontario. I became responsible for running the classes, personal training, and the sales of memberships and boxing equipment. Through my skills as a trainer, and my I believe my personality, I turned a failing program around and made it a success.
In 1998 I became a trainer and subsequently a manager of a Muay Thai program that I would later build at Totum Life Science (formerly Profitness). I oversaw the Muay Thai personal training in three different locations, hired Muay Thai trainers as well heading up the sales and marketing of totum's biggest facility at 445 King st. West, Toronto, Ontario.
I am married and the proud father of three! I still personally train 25 hours per week and am currently laying the ground work for my own training facility. My clients have included Much Music VJ Amanda Walsh, 6 feet under's Eric Balfour (now starring in "Hawaii"), Ford model Jenny Kaley, and many of Toronto's business elite.
My extensive knowledge of training techniques, both for Muay Thai and for resistance training, along with my personality, has made me a unique and very successful trainer.
I love what I do.
