I was a lifeguard in my teens and competed provincially, then started doing triathlons. A natural prgression from Lifeguard to Paramedic occurred, then a Registered Nurse. I got curious about teaching fitness and got certified in Toronto in 2010 while working at a major Trauma centre and taught boot camps on the side. It was a perfect match of health care and health promotion. I then got pregnant and wanted to learn more about pre and postnatal fitness so I started my own business when I moved back to New Brunswick. I did a Mom and baby class in the water in the winter times for the Canada Games Aquatics Centre then moved mostly outside on my own. I have been teaching Mommy and Baby fitness since my baby was 3 months old, almost 7 years ago. I since then took at position teaching part-time at a HIIT/functional training studio to adults and hard-core athletes. I also teach yoga, Mom and baby Yoga, and have a following for my Yoga Bunnies class for parents and kids. I also do accountability training on my website with meal-plans and work-outs. I still work in the emergency room as a nurse on weekends. I am a Lole Ambassador for healthy and active living and host free meet-ups with their store such as running conditioning, outdoor fitness, hill training, and my newest passion: Primal Movement.
I love working with moms and babies, parents and toddlers, school-aged kids, and adults of all genders.
